On Tuesday, July 20, 2021, members of the Toronto Police Service were at Alexandra Park to support City of Toronto staff who were engaging with individuals staying at the encampment.

Throughout the day, Toronto Police officers supported the City and used the least amount of force necessary to make arrests and were measured in their approach. There were no injuries.

Any request to remove someone from the area was done as a last resort, after City staff had exhausted every other option and multiple cautions were issued and ignored.

As a result, nine people were arrested by the Toronto Police Service or City of Toronto Corporate Security:

1. Trespass to Property

An outstanding arrest warrant was also executed on unrelated charges (Fail to Comply). He is being held for a Show Cause hearing. He was staying at the encampment.
