The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a Break and Enter investigation.

On Monday, July 19, 2021, approximately 5:00 p.m., officers responded to a call for a Break and Enter in the Yonge Street and Gloucester Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a 33-year-old woman returned to her home and found a male inside her apartment

- it is alleged the accused had cooked a meal, stolen personal items, and was wearing clothing items belonging to the female

- the woman called police, at which time the accused fled the apartment

- the accused was located by officers a short time later, placed under arrest and charged with:

1) Break and Enter

The accused was identified as Robert Anthony Stumpo, 35, of Toronto.

He appeared in court at College Park on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in room 501.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance, and information regarding any other possible victims.
