The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance with a mischief investigation.

On Sunday, May 8, 2022, at approximately 1 p.m., officers received a call for several election signs which had been vandalized.

It was reported that:

- on the south side of Ellesmere Road between McCowan Road and Scarborough Golf Club Road, an unknown person damaged approximately twenty election signs

- vulgar and derogatory words were written on the signs

An investigation has begun, and police are seeking the assistance of the public to identify the unknown person. Anyone who may have home security, or dashboard camera footage of the incident is asked to contact police.
